First Friday shows start again & RTI tidbits
Room To Improv will begin it’s first Friday of the month shows starting this coming Friday, September 5 at 10:30pm at the Two Roads Theatre in Studio City! We come back from the summer ready to get the improv going again and hope that you’ll be a part of it!!
Here are a few RTI tidbits to feed your insatiable urge to know more about us:
- Earl Baylon and Kris Clemente have been involved with the sketch comedy group Projekt NewSpeak and just recently made it into the finals of the IOWest Sketchmatch which will be happening this Saturday, Sept. 6.
- You probably saw Anthony Foronda at Comic-Con with a big smile and the reflection of anime artwork in his eyeglasses.
- Leslie-Anne Huff was in Hong Kong filming a movie and at the same time continues to put together fundraisers for Kamay at Puso.
- James Lui was seen in the movie ‘Zombie Strippers’ and also was a presenter at the 2008 NAAAP National Convention in Century City.
- Marc Macalintal finished music directing Pippin at East West Players and will be music directing ‘Tis The Season with the Three Filipino Tenors this December at East West Players.
- Elson Trinidad continues to play performances with his band Elson and the Soul Barkada. They will be performing this coming weekend, Sept. 6 at Fais Do-Do at 8pm. Lisa Casabar also sings with the group.
- RJ Victoria, Earl Baylon, and Kris Clemente were seen on stage in the production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the El Camino College Center for the Arts.
