Elvin A. Lubrin is the founder of Room to Improv, one of the few improvisation troupes in the county with an all Asian American cast. In addition to artistically directing Room to Improv, he has produced the show, "Hot Improv Nights" as well as Room to Improv’s open-ended run of "The First Friday of the Month Show." With Room to Improv, he has performed in venues, festivals and college campuses throughout California. He performed with the ensemble cast of the National Comedy Theatre in San Diego. He believes in the creation and maintenance of artistic and physical spaces where Asian Americans, especially Filipino Americans, can cultivate and perform their art. He feels blessed to be able to perform with and direct such a talented cast of performers.
