Marc Macalintal - Artistic Director
Marc was one of the original members of Room To Improv when it was founded in 2002.   Since graduating from Cal State University, Northridge with a music degree, he has been performing in the LA area as a musician and an actor.  His favorite roles include Lun Tha (The King and I), Linus (You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown), and Smokey (Damn Yankees) and has done shows with East West Players, Downey CLO, Musical Theatre West, and Teada Productions.  Marc has written original music for the show "Moose Mating" by David Grae which earned him an NAACP Theatre Awards nomination for best music.  He most recently was the musical director for Marry Me A Little & The Last Five Years at East West Players and adapted the score for EWP’s box office hit production of Pippin.  He is currently writing music for Krunk Fu Battle Battle, a hip-hop musical which will premiere in May 2011.  Marc is extremely thrilled to be a part of Room To Improv and wouldn't trade the experience for all the adobo in the world!!
