Wes Gabrillo
A student at UC Irvine, Wes is currently pursuing his degrees in Drama and Social Science. He finds time to perform in any space he can – whether it be the theatre, stand-up comedy, improv, or even for the onlookers watching him sing his iPod's "25 Top Rated" songs along the 405 Freeway. Wes is very much involved with Kababayan, the Filipino American Cultural organization at UCI, through which he's had the awesome opportunity to perform in a couple Pilipino Cultural Nights.
Although at only 5'7" and twenty years old, it's no doubt that Wes has done quite a bit already in life – ranging from championing his 8th grade spelling bee (thus earning him immense street credibility) to becoming a certified carousel ride operator. However, he finds that there is always room to learn and grow artistically, and is extremely thrilled to be a part of Room to Improv which continues to foster this space.
